Trump started pulling troops out when he took office. Biden started doing it en masse back in March - and apparently the taliban has regained about 75% of Afghanistan since 2017 - but about half of that number has been within the past 6 months. The MSM is only really reporting about it because the last of the very last troops are leaving - and the taliban are about to take over the US embassy now.

They have them but what good do they do? In a fire fight they are hopelessly outmatched.

All you need to ambush some soldiers on a street is a good hiding spot and a reliable gun.

Though most of the time you just need the patience to plant hundreds of thousands of IEDs on every road everywhere.

The ammo they buy, or "find" is often mixed in with self destructive ammunition meant to destroy their weapons, blow off their fingers or kill them. That's why theres so many videos of jihadis with 'malfunctioning' mortars.

It would be cool to have them but the smaller the weapon the less the risk.
