I consider movies JUST movies. I rarely think they are reenactments of real life events. I just assume it's a script since unless they hire an expert that I judge is not a bullshit artist then it's all just a movie and fiction or mostly fiction. I'd never think Stephen King movies are based on anything real life so why should I assume anything else is real life as CNN has taught us well.
