Solar power is good for small individual purposes. To recharge your mobile, laptop in mountain or something like that. No one say how much environment damage cause production of solar panels. Also there is laborious - expensive maintenance. You must regularly clean panels from dust... and btw. they lose his efficiency rapidly during years, especially if you use cheap Chinese panels. And talking about Chinese products, they use dirty - toxic materials.... so after 5 - 10 years you will end with bunch of toxic waste.... and zero energy to "recycle" this shit.
