Imagine the reactions the interns and staff would have while the fake administration kept pretending it was so popular and amazing. The demoralization would have been absolutely devastating and the only recourse was total censorship. Like any totalitarian government that isn't legally elected and instead is installed, the voices of the people terrify them.
