Many “Book smart” people tend to fall apart under any actual examination. There are phd scientists who struggle with freshman level calculus, but they are good at following instructions and taking the easiest possible routes, so they advance through the ranks. Once they have their phd they are rubber stamps that do mundane tasks.

When i was in my fourth year of college i noticed they made hybrid 400 level courses that doubled as 600 level course for the grad students, the grad students just needed to do an extra essay.

It was a game then and its a game now. Seriously give them a freshmen level calculus problem to solve and watch them go “oh its been a while lol”. They are not as talented as you think.

oh its been a while lol

Kek, literally every time.
