I don't know anyone who favoured wars in the Middle East including those who served. Why attack Afghans and Iraqis because of Saudis and jews? Why create a humanitarian crisis that will flood your country with people hostile for bombing them?

Having had worked for a major polling firm, I'd be curious to read how the questions were framed and triggered. You'd be amazed how people's answers change based on what information they are first fed, how the question is asked, and what previous answers exclude or include them in the survey. It's an incredibly manipulative industry.
