I put this in s/funny because I bet most people think its a meme. It's real. He even talks about feeling effeminate so he worked out all the time to kill his depression and used high protein diets and developed a "large thirst" because of his "big lust". I think that is metaphorically pretty self explanatory to why he only got the tits and the plastic surgery.

It's cloaked in symbolism and I skimmed through; just look at the title, it's blatant what the message is if you read a few chapters. I left the bookstore because I was asked to buy or leave and I wasn't going to support a black power, transsexual book about radical socialism and his upbringing.

I only skimmed through it at the bookstore because I was shocked she came out as a tranny publicly using metaphors and "daydreams". I spent about 15 minutes or so but it was a lot of stuff. The coming out stuff was scattered throughout. It was over 400 pages and some pages were just full of bizarre, nonsensical paragraphs.
