I've been saying for years that it was fast-food stores that are the ones promoting $15 an hour wages so that they can replace people with machines.

I've been saying for years I would rather punch my order into a screen and have a machine flip my burger, at least it will get it right and not leave spit in your food.

In this way they get multiple wins: replace employees with machines, kill small businesses that cant afford it, and then feign 'woe is me' while they fire employees for the same affordability reason.
