I’ve never seen a leftist actually try to find common ground in their life. They just say that because they know the right is civil and will usually try. We lose ground every time.

Civility means you personally aren’t being lined up against a wall for what you’re doing. It boggles the mind why you’re against it.
I find the right's recent calls for civility to stick in my throat after being spit on, struck with an american flag had my SO tugged out of her wheel chair and kicked, all by "civil" trumpers, scared at their perceived loss of privilege.
