Walking away never solves anything. When you allow people to abuse you without consequence, they will escalate their abuse. Every time. Because you gave them no reason not to. If you walk away from people stealing your mailbox, next time they will come for your bike. If you walk away from them taking your bike, next time they will come for your car. If you keep walking away, you will soon find yourself without a house, without a roof over your head, without a job, without a wife, without a family, without a country, without a nation, without justice, without peace. They will come for it all. Until you have nothing left. And then they will come for your life. For you gave them no reason not to. Walking away is the cause of all of these problems. Had you, from the start, shown up with with a righteous rage, and a boundless fury, with torches and pitchforks in hand, and a willingness to use them, and not stopped until your demands were met... then it would have never gotten this far. It would have stopped long ago. Then you would have gotten what you wanted. And they would not have kept escalating. But you gave them no reason not to. Stop walking away. It is a false virtue. A coward's excuse.
