Whiskey is an American and Irish spelling. Whisky is how royal cocksuckers like the brits, scottish, and canadians spell it.

Always thought it was a simple marketing ploy, the difference between America and "the old world" (Ireland /Scotland) spelling. Idk, could be wrong, tho.
