Poal will be open source, its been on our todo list forever.
Poal's servers are located in several places that list is actually pretty long at this point.
There is a poal bitchute channel. That kind of bot is something that you'll just have to wait and see.
The UI has been done by and he is an absolute badass.
Sweet! Since Poal's servers are in several locations, if one or two servers were taken down will the site still be fully functional with no data loss? I know Gab has been hammered hard by hosting providers over the years and I hope Poal has a good strategy to prevent this.
We sure do, we keep lots of backups. I'm not saying it could never happen I am however saying I'll be sure to do everything in my power to prevent it.
Are there also any plans on making the website more mobile friendly? Poal is still better on mobile compared to Voat and SaidIt but I think the buttons and top menu could be bigger on mobile. Just some minor things for smaller touch screens.
I also personally think making this website mobile friendly is better than working on an app since apps can be banned from app stores. A mobile friendly way to interact with it on iOS will be great especially since iOS only has one app store which has been known to ban free speech apps such as Gab.
