Update: Well, it appears to be working again.

I just started browsing poal for the night and quickly encountered pic8 images not loading. I did a search and didn't see anyone else post about this issue yet, so I am now. Sorry if you know about this already, @picman.

OP contains these links: https://pic8.co/sh/2tgwmq.png https://pic8.co/sh/3jsoba.jpeg https://pic8.co/sh/lgioda.jpeg https://pic8.co/sh/xs2rlg.jpeg

The pic8 links don't redirect to any hosts and load the pics at the pic8 address and displays:

"Not Found The requested resource was not found on this server."

That post also includes links to the direct images due to the pic8 issue if that is useful in helping.

https://pic8.co/sh/xwQ5ED.png @AOU also the expando doesn't collapso if the image host is down pic is loaded. It just continuously creates new "image host down" images.
