I don't doubt that some sort of crash is going to happen, but not saving? AI isn't going to make everything cheaper regardless of what this yayhoo thinks.
For sure AI services will become more expensive, they need to compensate for all the years of loans and invested money, so that's not going to be cheaper. If the economy crashes in 1-3 years (likelihood?) then things are not going to be cheaper either. Even in economy does not crash and they succeed with AGI we're reduced to useless eater status and we might get a world war for power and minerals when they become true bottlenecks in this Space Race v.2.
