Local butcher, Make friends with farmers/ranchers. Grow whatever you can yourself when you can. If you have the time/space, a couple of chickens are plenty to supply you depending on how many people are in the house. It is not effortless though and is a daily chore/task. CSA's are sometimes worth it but you have to really look into them. I have been a part of a CSA that kind of sucked and ended up dropping it.
