I have an IRA with around 350,000 in it. Based off the current way things are heading, I am still contemplating what to do with it. Part of me wants to liquidate the whole thing and just buy up ammo, guns, flour, etc. The other part of me also sees the new administration will deeply curtail any benefit to having an IRA in the first place, be it with capital gains taxes, excise taxes, fuck whitey taxes, etc. Which makes me think what should i do with this thing?

depends how much risk you want to take on.

One set of people would say to take loans to buy property (inflation will decrease your debt, but housing prices could rise due to rich people buying income properties. Maybe some land in idaho, sand point has land for sale that is still reasonable.

you should absolutely get some prepping stuff, but don't go overboard (a few guns, maybe reloading setup for them). I would get a RO water setup with a booster pump. I don't know if it is true for all of them, but my pump is 24V, so i could make pure water with 2 car batteries as long as i could find an input source. Some solar panels would probably be nice, and ham stuff. food.

crypto/PMs, this one is totally up to you, i wouldn't want to be holding USD in the bank (or a fund) if things go bad. The liquidity in any underlying is pretty low, and so the price could crash easily if a few pull out; if society rebounds that is fine, but maybe someday...

And rope, we're going to need rope.
