This device is in remarkably good condition for it's age, it may have been one of the later units (EICO sold these up into the 1980s.) The yellow capacitor near the top replaces the only paper molded in the unit, and the cord was replaced with a new polarized unit with the proper underwriter's knot. I did a quick clean of the controls, and this thing is silent and smooth. Not a bad purchase for $12.50.
