A group of rural Ohioans says they have little control over the spread of large data centers, and they want to amend the state’s constitution to ban those larger than 25 megawatts.
They prefer single, large, 200 megawatt data centers, but this will still allow them to build as many 25 megawatt data centers as they want. You can build 8 on the same property so long as you get them classified as separate facilities.
