I own my property outright and it pisses me off to no end every six months when I get that bill, but I cannot advocate for shifting that tax burden to income tax. Who benefits the most from this? It is the boomers. GenX and younger are working their asses off to pay for their and their parent's indulgences. Enough of shifting the burden to benefit them.

I haven't seen that, but that would be more fair than property taxes. I wonder if they'd start taxing food like TN does.
