If you're competing with Amazon's shit wages, you aren't paying anything to attract people for what's hard labor and a long educational cycle.

What, for record profits while paying your employees the absolute minimum possible?

How about. "Fuck You".

I can't see how a skilled job is supposed to be competing with Amazon's warehouse in Etna.

They pay decent out there for warehouse work, but you're worked like a dog. You want someone to come into a hospital where it requires education and/or skills and "you're competing with Amazon?" Cry more, you aren't paying enough.

No kidding. Its the same thing with the whole "Fast food workers should make $25/hr". No, they should not.

Why the fuck would I bother with skilled labor that requires education and years of experience if I can just go ask someone if "they want fries with that" for $25/hr.

It will lead to collapse. Those jobs are intended to be a foot up into something else. Not a life long career.

I think the warehouse here is paying 18-20, depending on the job. That's shit, but it's not bad for a warehouse grunt.

There is something very seriously wrong if hospitals are competing with Amazon. Unless Amazon will be offering medical procedures soon. Kinda surprised that hasn't happened yet.
