Why the fuck would I bother with skilled labor that requires education and years of experience if I can just go ask someone if "they want fries with that" for $25/hr.
It will lead to collapse. Those jobs are intended to be a foot up into something else. Not a life long career.
I think the warehouse here is paying 18-20, depending on the job. That's shit, but it's not bad for a warehouse grunt.
