Fuck New York in particular.

Fuck New York in particular.

That’s the 8th, is there a gif of every day after showing it’s movement? I’m guessing it’s past Europe by now.

No, that's all I have right now, that was pulled by some random internet person.

I was in Buffalo on the 8th, 9th, and 10th. RIP me?

you gonna die!

eventually.

Fuck! That's it. I'm calling Misny!

The wind changed direction quite a bit in those 2 days of burning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DX1L5efYm4

The wreck happened on 2/3, evacuation happened on 2/5, and the burnoff was ordered on 2/6.

People were told it was "safe" to return on 2/8.

That map shows fires going strong through 2/14, six full days after people were told it was safe to return.

TLDR: it's bullshit.

It's a simulation of the wind pattern from 2/4 - 2/8 showing where the "fallout" may have spread, including the days of burning. Let's just hope most of it went out to sea, though and follow the damage done along the waterways.

Can we overlay blue and red voting districts on that? Oh, almost all red districts....ok...

Also with the Amish population that area is one of the highest concentrations I think.

Also headed directly for Justin Castreau.

That map seems like bullshit.

It conflicts with the video where the EPA people said the cloud traveled SW along the Ohio river, near Huntington WV.

Who made this map, and what data did they use?

It's important to consider that as the particulates spread out in the atmosphere, the concentration drops sharply. Though the particulates may reach distant areas, their concentration will way below safety limits. It's like pissing in the ocean- it's just a drop in the bucket.

Curious as to the 'safe limit' to where it will not cause sickness/ illness/ or problematic issues in A] Healthy individuals B] Immunocompromised/sick frail/ elderly or new born individuals C] Domestic livestock, Pets D] Wildlife, Plants and crops ??

It's somewhere around the safe limit to every other chemical pollutant we have in the environment for as long as we've been polluting the environment. Considering just how many evil, terrible and deadly substances we have put into our world, I think vinyl chloride decomposition products are not quite in the top 10 of that list. And this is not the first time vinyl chloride and it's breakdown products have been released into the environment in quantity so maybe that tells us something about it's safe limit and long term effects.

' And this is not the first time vinyl chloride and it's breakdown products have been released into the environment in quantity so maybe that tells us something about it's safe limit and long term effects.'

I'm not sure if that is saying there were no sickness/ illness/ problematic issues or if it's suggesting there is 'just no evidence' ...

Wait, why fuck New York?

Who did this estimated fallout zone?

I'm not smart, but, not a climatologist, buy why doesn't it follow the drainage of the Ohio River Valley?

This is the particulate matter released into the atmosphere from the burning.

The river is a whole 'nother story.

Oh. Good to know Philly is safe for another day.

[–] 3 pts

Philly is safe

That depends entirely on what you mean by that.
