I had to run some errands yesterday and way too many masks.

  • People outside walking their dogs with masks (Crocker Park, upscale idiot village, but I needed some new Ray-Bans).

  • Library, mask required, wut? I'm going to call the city tomorrow.

  • YMCA, masks required per signage, but no one said anything to me. I got a lot of stink eye looks from other members. The guy at the desk didn't seem to give any shits.

  • Heinen's, I'd say 80 percent of the people were wearing masks, all employees were. At least no one gave me the stink eye like at YMCA.

Anyways. I thought we were done with this shit. Why are people still doing this!!!

you've got 3 groups of people basically

1 - those enforcing masking through social shaming and trying to maintain the narrative 2 - those who follow along only because they feel more negative consequences will come their way then they want to deal with instead of just putting on a mask in public 3 - people like us who know wtf is going on

People can not simply be told to not be afraid, like most things they have to be shown Just keep being disagreeable, make them stop you and ask to put a mask on, then quote the stanford study that showed that masks are not effective at all, if they try to say "I don't care/that doesn't matter" etc, immediately push the "anti science" narrative on them, force those normies in group 2 watching you to hear and see the contradiction of those pretending to demand we all "trust science"

This is the quickest way to get people from group 2 to 3, however, many of them won't remove their mask right then and there, it will be more like "yea that dude in the grocery store was right, fuck these masks, i'm not wearing one anymore"

I think you're right. It's just taking longer than I expected. I figured more people would be celebrating the mandate being repealed and going without immediately.

I figured more people and businesses would have fought this ridiculousness from the very start. I have less than zero faith of anything actually changing in this country after this. People will do exactly what they are told. I'm sure it was a lot better in rural areas but even this weekend in the middle of no where I saw a sign for vax days.

The year 2020 was an eye-opener for us all. Our first completely fradulant presidential election, that no government or private organization or agency was even brave enough to protest, let alone do anything about; plus the virus hysteria that proved that Americans (and all Westerners, for that matter) are gutless cucks. We know ourselves a lot better since we started shutting down churches but letting liquor stores stay open.

Most of the places around here are putting up signs that say if you're gene modified, you can come in without a mask. If people were giving me the shit, I didn't see it because most people are just chickens to step over. Visited a friend and went to our favorite tex-mex place which just recently re-opened, most people coming in there we wearing their fear diapers, they would take them off to eat and if they had to get out of their seat to go to the restroom, right back on they went.

There are still a few places that are hysterical about them, but for the most part businesses around me aren't caring, it's just the fearful sheep that get mad.

Lots of people in my town (not in Ohio but oh well) still wearing them too. A couple businesses have signs up saying "Masks recommended. Optional for fully vaccinated". Nobody's checking though.

If they do ask, politely remind them that requesting medical information is a HIPPA violation, and that repeated violations could wind up with fines and/or jail time for the asker.

I told the one greeter who asked that it was none of his fucking business and walked past. There's no mask order here anymore and even when there was one the police didn't enforce it. Some store owners are now bemoaning that they now have to be the "mask police" on their own again but they instantly cave when someone ignores them.

It really isn't a HIPPA violation for them to ask. HIPPA prevents a third party from disclosing your information. They can ask and you can willingly share. The correct answer is to tell them to fuck off.

Now I've seen it stated that they can refuse you service for that, but idk, that seems sketchy.

Technically yes, but HIPPA also prohibits them from receiving your medical information. They're not providing health care, so they don't need it.

The average citizen of the Poisonous Nut State is a fucking moron. That’s how idiots like John Kasich and Jerry Springer got elected. Most of my family still lives there and I love them greatly, but most of them are middle of the road RINO lemmings that are susceptible to media/social media propaganda. For example a family member in Columbus still refuses to see the problem with the Somali invasion that has been happening for a couple decades in the neighborhood they live in - and grew up in- even though they pulled their kids out of the school after they were assaulted several times, have had several break ins at their house (which they can’t sell because no one wants to live there)... they claim the diversity is a blessing. An aunt is a guidance counselor at another high school and has been assaulted sexually and physically repeatedly by the Somali niglets. She refuses to see the connection that they hate white people, especially women. She has had acid thrown on her, has been sucker punched from the backside (the knockout game), has been held down by several kids and attempted rape (she is a large woman - only a mooncricket would try it).. As far as I know no charges were ever filed and she STILL talks glowingly about the wonderful diversity and inclusion of different cultures. She loves her some Kamala Harris. And hates the fact Columbus is named after a white conquistador. (Yet has no problem with Spanish Latin heritage)...

Have a brother in the Cincinnati area that claims to be conservative but hated trump because the media told him to. He loved John Kasich and actually worked in his last presidential campaign in 2016. He voted for Biden and Hillary because he thought they would be more moderate and inclusive. And then he bitches about how he can’t hire anyone because all of the applicants will only work under the table so they can get free govt money. He used to employ a lot of teenagers for their first job. Now it’s ALL MEXICANS and he can’t do a thing about it. He loves the idea of a $15/hr minimum wage, yet doesn’t understand why people want $15/hr for an entry level, unskilled position. And wonders why he can’t keep people for more than a year or two MAX because he can’t afford to pay them $18-$20/hr once they have acquired more knowledge and can use different equipment.. why should they make the same as when they knew absolutely nothing about the business? He doesn’t put 2 and 2 together.

He came here to FL back around Christmas and was shocked to see live music and to be able to go out to eat and shop maskless. He wouldn’t go out in public he was so damned brainwashed. He thought we were all Neanderthal morons that were going to kill everyone with our lack of regard for the “GREAT DR. FAUCI”. He STILL thinks Desantis is a danger to society and that OH and Michigan are leading the way in safety.

I moved the fuck out of Ohio to FL as soon as I was 18. Absolutely hate going back to the shithole to visit family.

There are beautiful places and people there, don’t get me wrong... But the mentality up there is fucking ludicrous.

I've been thinking about leaving. I have a lot of family ties here though, and I do love the weather and boating here in the summer. Still even in the nicer areas the diversity is starting to creep in.

The mask wearers are still the majority in my immediate neighborhood. On several occasions I've had people approach me from the opposite direction in the aisle of a store, notice I am maskless, stop abruptly, reverse direction, and speed away from me. It's mostly women that do it.

I have seen caring moms with their school-age children wearing masks on a street.

Some people are actually wearing masks because of vaccinated people. I went to a gathering, we were the only unvaxxed. I got pretty sick the next few days. Vomiting and diarrhea.

My local grocery store still has the "masks required" sign up but it's not being enforced. About 1/4-1/3 of the customers are maskless.
