For those who don't know Terry, he was a very gifted programmer afflicted with Schizophrenia.
He made the Temple OS single handedly from scratch (which, is an amazing feat), and used to do livestreams waaaay back in the - even before Bitwave was a thing. He passed away in 2018.
I need to put an archive together with his stuff so other people can see who he was.

Temple OS is not very impressive, even for one man. I've worked with some incredible programmers over the years who have single-handedly built OS systems that make Temple OS look like a CS grad's capstone project. People make Terry's work out to be something amazing but it's like a 1980s operating system with little to offer. I know a guy who has MS, Intel and China very angry at him for not open sourcing his highly optimized from scratch OS and media engine he built for cross-architecture media and game work. What he has done is incredible and it's just been him over the last 10 years. These companies are desperate to get his work because they can't beat him with their own stuff. Now that's what I call amazing.

It's sort of like the hype Einstein gets for relativity when the work was already done by Poincare and others. TempleOS is hyped because Terry's fans like his politics and world view. It's also like Tesla, but I've learned dissing Tesla on Poal is fightin' words so I won't go there. :D

Awesome! I'm an untrained music novice so it's really cool that others find it enjoyable. I just like seeing what comes out because I am certainly not planning my music in any way. It comes as a complete surprise to me when I hear it after I decide it's time to bring the song to an ending. It's really shocking to me that I made this stuff.

Well in the case of TempleOS, I'm a programmer and it definitely hits the mediocre boxes. I'm sure there are some famed poets out there that you think their work is utter shite. It comes with the nature of the work we do.
