I heard some of this nonsense on NPR a few months ago.
I will say. I have no issue with tree planting efforts and expanding greenspaces in cities. I do believe nature is good for the soul.
However, to say systemic issues are coming from lack of trees is an example of correlation does not imply causation. Perhaps the problem is the blacks that live in these neighborhoods. I'd lean towards that conclusion.
