It was quite the spectacle. It was a hang glider festival. They had music and beer in town park, and some friends and I were hanging out watching these idiots and saw it happen. I decided to poke around and see if I could find anything about this incident, but no luck. It was in the early nineties. Fucking guy swallowed the memory card to hide the incriminating video. LOL. Couldn't find any follow up on this though.
