sugar + protein!? - dehydrates a soldier I'd think.

sugar is always quick burst energy to as well not long sustained energy (over a few hours at least) as well for the most part.

explosive shits.

suger + protein?! - no actual food for the most part with liquids (spaghetti (water content) as an example) and such. very low grade quality to me personally since it doesn't have any food with water content (spaghetti as an example) alone.

if you didn't drink the liquids (assuming that's vitamins + water and some sugar maybe) and/or get enough liquids alone your intestines would explode alone.

gel is a gamble on this one alone.

you need liquids with that type of meal to me personally. wrong place if you are on the battlefield I'd say as a video game expert here and a fitness type (used to be at least).

this MRE alone you'd need a gallon of water a day I'd want to say.

If I were to make an MRE myself.

I figure heavy protein bars with very little sugar and maybe some fats to as well (work some complex carbohydrates in there to as well).

Get a high water content on the side with vitamins alone. half gallon of water. It's only 4 pounds or so alone.

someone wanted me to say this.

protein poisoning is protein only for the most part.

Protein poisoning (also referred to colloquially as rabbit starvation, mal de caribou, or fat starvation

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protein_poisoning

"fat starvation" as it's also called.

60% protein / 30% fat / 10% carbohydrates (complex) - very low sugar content

Large amounts of water on the side.

take the chocolate bar from this alone (if not a bit smaller) then add in the coffee (maybe chewing gum like he said).

talking to someone else. this is meant for someone else.

side note: I used to be a runner (fast jogger - relaxing while listening to music and such) so protein + sugar is a no go usually or was at least and/or a thing to avoid (protein + sugar dehydration - explosive shits alone). anything that dehydrates the body. used to do 3-5 miles after school (high school) then after high school I still ran for a couple of years alone.

not everyday obviously and many times it wasn't 3 days in a row it was every other day at most. could lift on off days to as well.

It was usually 4.1/4.2 miles at most unless I went further. I hated going 3 miles only if not 3.5 miles. I don't feel like my same old self unless I went around 3.8-4.2 (4 miles) miles or so alone (almost to the point of OCD like I didn't get my regular workout in and I don't feel the same).

I usually didn't eat beforehand. I always waited until afterwards for the most part. small snack, but I didn't like having that fuel as energy for the most part. So 1-2 hours afterwards at least if not 3 hours. I didn't want to get addicted to food for my ability in running (just kind of strange that way I guess).

I didn't want to get addicted to this myself --> have a snack - then protein bar - then some energy bar - then some energy supplement - then some energy bar + energy supplement - then some energy buffet. energy drink (NOexplode) + energy bar + energy supplement (something else) - energy buffet at that point. I was working overall more or so back then and/or overall "naturally" more or so myself.

I did use NOexplode for a while myself. Kind of enjoyed having the energy at times. I did like doing other stuff, but not when I was younger. I didn't start using NOexplode until I was 22 or 23. It had to be "blue raz" the other ones for the most part that I tried tasted terrible for the most part.

just go after 1-3 hours of eating if not 2-3 hours at least.

On the workout part, I agree with you and it is not strange at all not to eat before a workout or a run because you'll puke it out afterward. It is best to fast before an intensive workout, then feed yourself water with a small but good breakfast. Careful with some of current breakfast and protein bars because many of them have soybean oil and soy protein in them.

Most other pre-workout powders some will have soy & a lot of other nasty synthetic sugars such as aspartame along with caffiene. I know about NOexplosion and that is a good workout powder to use since it doesn't have soy, but it has Ace-K (Acesulfame Potassium) in it and that sugar alcohol makes me ill to my stomach.

it's hard to know on the phytoestrogens (phytoestrogens in soy) and such. It's not always bad to eat phytoestrogens and such since they help in the regulation of estrogen levels for men alone from what I understand, but you don't want to overdo it from what I hear to as well (not sure who wins in this argument, but figure to be safe and not overdo it).

https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/neuroscience/phytoestrogens

phytoestrogens or whatever are said to mimic estrogens or whatever (not an expert) - this would be best in a comedy bit alone due to the two whatevers alone. IDK for sure myself.

phytoestrogens due help to regulate estrogen from what I understand myself for now at least.

many fitness types like steamed broccoli so they'd be in the "soy boy" realm alone that way.

https://healthfully.com/broccoli-estrogen-6122782.html

eggs to as well - soy boy - phytoestrogen realm to as well.

https://www.endo-resolved.com/diet_phytoestrogens.html

soy boy realm alone - anyone eating these foods and such alone are "soy boys" - eggs / broccoli / carrots / olive oil / peppers - nuts to as well are in this realm, but not on the list from what I've seen. not sure which ones.

oats are on the list to as well. oats used to be big for breakfast and/or still are big in the fitness world (can't remember). I remember many people recommending oats alone.

steel cut oats I think though so IDK for sure.

this is within reason here as well since I put in some strange humor though for this post alone.

flax seed is higher than soy for the most part to as well. anyone taking flax seed oil supplements and such alone most likely get more phytoestrogens than anyone drinking soy based products (but IDK for sure - I think it's higher amounts someone may be getting).

https://mentalhealthdaily.com/2015/04/08/20-foods-high-in-estrogen-phytoestrogens/

moderation is key from what I figure myself. You wouldn't want too much phytoestrogens I'd figure as a guy and/or male / man (drinking soy based products high in phytoestrogens), but IDK myself exactly. figure you wouldn't though.

side note: kind of troll on this one at times to make a point.

bit unorthodox on this one (kind of going full troll at times to make a point). figure it's high doses of phytoestrogens to as well though or something like this if it were to happen since the phytoestrogens (indoles) in broccolli alone are in smaller amounts alone (regulation of estrogen and again IDK for sure).

kind of stukov from Starcraft 2 (unorthodox methods for this time line - unorthodox - not traditional or really that accepted widely, but for show at least) mixed with a troll at times when it comes to my post here.
