Tech veteran says, in part : I've been in technology for a quarter century, working in the biggest organizations and now in silicon valley at executive levels. More than half of my career was spent working under female management, almost exclusively when they have no expertise in my field. I never ever succeeded under these circumstances. For nearly 15 years I've seen only woman, people of color and immigrants get promoted in large shops, no matter what accomplishments others may have. ..... *

There are exceptions. Only ONE woman I have ever worked for that I respected. She was English and had a scientific PhD. I have lost contact with her but I do know she went back to the UK in 2010. As for the others, stupid dumb bitches.

There is one at my current employer running the PMO (project management office or whatever the fuck that is supposed to mean) and she is piece of ass that fucked her way into her current job. She won't even talk to anyone unless she has to. The usual "my time is valuable" excuse. Her boss is a moron too and tries to inject himself to other departments. I've told the man to basically fuck off (in professional terms, obviously) so my contact with her and him are minimal. One of his other managers gave me a ration of shit a few months ago and I commented about his employee picture should also be his grindr profile pic. He was not pleased with that remark.

The other female managers are just diversity hires. Including the one in the 90s.
