The best is when they produce a document from 35 hrs ago and ask why it wasn’t reproduced because the requirement said they’d reproduce everything that the previous software did, and it’s a 3 part form.

[Edit] Yes, I have done both and been in the position of engineer as well as translator. Customers talking to engineers always ends in failure.
