The only part that might be debatable is the service portion. They say in the movie that service guarantees citizenship. This implies that the pathway otherwise is pretty damn difficult. You also cannot have children without it.
I 100% agree with this, mind you, but it does shine a slightly different light on the military service as a whole in their universe
Problems with the cinematic version of the story:
Women shouldn’t be in the military.
Global government is bad because it puts all races under one government.
Fornication should be a prison offense.
Having no welfare system would solve the birth control problem better than military service. Only produce the kids you can support.
Other than those, I’d like to know more.
