That's literally what DIE training teaches. Last year when I had my first DIE training, they give the example of a bunch of people who are next to a fence. The short ones are given a box to stand on so that they can see over the fence. DIE wants you to think it's fair to give hand outs to the short.

On a completely different topic... Now this brings me to my theory that short people belong in the BACK of group photos. Tall people should sit in the chairs people set up for the group photo in the front, with the shorts standing behind the chairs in the back. That way it's fair and everyone's face is seen and tall people get to sit too. Otherwise you have shorts always in the front. So annoying.
