Fucking Boomer-tier meme making its rounds on all social media. Everything was better in the past, as if things didn't go to shit on their watch.

And the illiterate retards can't even get it right, that's clearly a rocket not a jet. Dipshits that lived during the peak of NASA can't even get that right.

Don't forget the part where they all lifted themselves up by their own bootstraps and totally didn't steal the wealth of future generations through deficit spending.

Love those old Chevy trucks. The C/Ks were awesome. Growing up I never had one but knew many that did. Being driven and driving around in those are fond memories. I wonder what happen to those trucks I remember. I just looked and they are selling for big money now for any in good condition.

And.... to the point of the post. Fuck selling the cybertruck as something that is a practical work truck. The tech isn't there yet.

Elon likes to release POC into the market, even if they aren't practical.

It's crazy how many people are buying them.

I'm not even anti-electric car (fuck mandates), but the trucks are laughable. Ford had the same issue. Poor battery life when under load and poor performance. They are purely an act of vanity.

It's like crApple fans buying v1 of their overpriced products.

My very first vehicle was a 1973 Maize and White long bed Chevy Custom Deluxe w/a 454 and glass packs. Engine caught fire one time. Pulled over, hit it with the extinguisher, cranked it back up and went on down the road. That thing was a fucking beast.

From 2018: https://www.qantasnewsroom.com.au/roo-tales/that-time-we-towed-a-plane-with-a-tesla/

On a remote taxiway at Melbourne Airport, a Tesla Model X P100D with the greatest pulling power of any electric passenger vehicle came face to face against the newest star of the Qantas fleet, a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

In a world first, the all-electric SUV successfully towed the Dreamliner as part of a Guinness World Record attempt, as the heaviest tow by an electric production passenger vehicle.

While the Model X can accommodate up to seven passengers, far less than the 236 people on a Qantas Dreamliner, the Tesla punched above its weight towing the 130 tonne 787* well above its on road tow rated capacity of 2.5 tonnes
