Never could make sense of "Not guilty by reason of insanity". The proper verdict should be "Guilty and insane" and the punishment should be immediate death. After all, if they are too insane to understand their crime, they are certainly too insane to understand their punishment. And make it clear that "temporary insanity" is subject to the same punishment, only call it a "temporary death" sentence. Fuck 'em.
