I ranked each state's normal license plate (and free alternative plates for the states that have them) from worst to best.

S Tier is reserved for works of art.

A Tier features plates with great designs.

B Tier features plates with good designs.

C Tier is for plates that feature plain designs while still having something unique to them or being pleasing to look at.

D Tier is for plates with bland or ugly designs, barely passing for the fact that there is no URL.

The F Tiers are reserved for plates with URLs on them, because URLs do not belong on license plates.

Edit: Forgot to add a couple of alternate North Carolina plates, both are C Tier.

Bring back confederate flag plates

I wonder how we ended up with the plates we got and the rest of the world got plates that look decent.

Who let DC get all uppity on their plates? Congress needs to crack the whip on those faggots.

They are all FF as they give the first indication that you haven't paid a tax to use the road and thusly give the police a reason to pull you over and request to see your papers.

I'd like to submit a second plate seeing as you have Michigan on there 4 times.

That's a nice plate. However specialty plates cost extra money and are not included. I would probably get one of those plates if I lived in the greatest commonwealth.

Where would you rank the ? (Yes, they're .)

I think they're the only decent thing to come from that shithole across the river.

I can't decide between A and B tier. A tier because it's a fucking battleship, and B tier because the design is so simple.

The design is no more or less simple than the Michigan bridge one. Slap that bad boy in A-tier!

URL? On a license plate? I don't think I have the right sort of URL in mind..

I'm sort of a fan of Wyoming and Delaware for the black background and simple text. Those plates would mostly blend in with dark colored vehicles, which is good if you drive a nice looking car. The same could be said for Mississippi plates on a white vehicle.

Delaware plates are navy blue.

Fair enough, navy blue is often mistaken for black though.
