I always said that suggesting we could fuck up the earth is a bit egotistical/narcissistic. Either as an evolutionist you believe its been here a lot longer than us and is gonna be here longer than we will, or a theist approach says a higher power created it and is not gonna let us fuck it up or designed it well enough to make sure we don't.
