Low end estimates on how long mankind has been domesticating dogs is 30,000 years. In that time they have also served us, as shepherds, hunting partners, security guards, etc. Horses are a nice second place finisher, but dogs are man's best friend.

Horse population also dropped 97%. Does anyone still think automation is a good thing?

They just need more diversity in the horse population.

Maybe if there were dog sized horses they would fare better.

There are. You never heard of a mini-horse?

I'm talking small dog size here, big enough to pull a cart the size of a loaf of bread.

Idk about that but you should image search for Dexter cows. You won't be disappointed
