Voices in ones head, in my opinion, are generally the different, fractured parts of your subconscious. I think the Bible helps you put yourself back together and learn to listen to your subconscious. Praying to God helps develop your subconscious and internal dialogue. So honestly, your statement is very true! I would say if you pray and study the Bible enough your subconscious should be about inline with the Holy Ghost.
