Research by Steve Gangestad, a University of New Mexico psychology professor, showed that women taking oral contraceptives had no significant preference for the smell of males with symmetrical features vs. asymmetrical features.

Symmetry in features is a measure of attractiveness and genetic fitness. Women not taking the pill preferred the smell of males with symmetrical features during their most fertile time.

"What we found is that the pill may actually upset normal preferences for choosing mates," says Gangestad.

Hollywood pressure. Men are shown in an unappealing light. Displays a standard of living that is realistically unattainable for most. Hypersexualized hypergamy culture in a positive light. Puts paternity in a negative light.

Pharmaceutical pressure. Birth control and SSRIs affect the psychological aspects of women. Men slip under opioids.

Sexual cultural pressure. Access to pornography, and hook up apps.

Safety net pressure. Alimony and child support.

Race pressure. Being a nigger means muh dik and dey a hoe.
