You don't have to open pic8 to submit an image.
Poal has it embedded in the create "link post" page.
So you just have to put a direct link to an image (that ends with .png, jpg, .jpeg or .gif) in the URL field or upload it with the "choose file" image button or simply copy/paste the image in the clipboard field.
There's not point posting archived links that require you to type a captcha to load tons of js and stuff just to watch a small image meme.
