As a business owner I can assure you that's EXACTLY how it works retard.

When the Fed/State/County/City governments raise up my tax rates I raise my prices to cover the additional cost of doing business so that my profit margin is maintained.

My customers pay the higher tax burden.

So, yea, wanna call me some more names?

YES, you are a small to medium business, that is indeed how it works for you. Then you put that extra into the prices for the clients, so you can maintain your standard of living.

If you were a rich jew or a international corporation, things would work differently. You would get tax cuts to "keep the people employed", but in reality it goes into your second yacht. The employees get their salaries reduced, while the people at the top get them increased. "Sorry guys we need to lower wages or freeze your salary and wages, these are hard times for all of us".
