Many years ago there was a woman on the news saying "I dont understand why people hunt. You don't need to hurt animals to get meat, just go to the supermarket and buy it". She had no idea that the meat she buys at the store somehow did not just magically exist and rather it came from a once living animal.
Right and corporate meat production is known for its humane treatment of animals 🙄
Most people (especially city types) are brought up with such a lack luster shallow education of where their food comes from it may as well be magic. The only thing they make sure to do is demonize Farmers, Ranchers and Hunters. You know.. The true conservationists.
Without these people and the proper management of Land, game and nature we would be in a much worse world. I trust the people who's lives depend on taking care of the land over the people that don't know that meat from the store had to come from a farm/ranch.
