That's how Taoism works, I swear! One of the goals is making the Golden Elixir and becoming a Sennin - an immortal hermit. Those things all happened, they wouldn't lie to us or exaggerate, right? Right...?

That sounds more like some of the stuff in Zen Buddhism, not Taoism. But maybe I didn't delve deeply enough into it.
