You have to, but there's always a preference. Cardio is not too bad now the sun is back.

This is why I do lifting with a timer now instead of reps. I suppose one “set” of each would be most ideal.

I wonder if walking 2km under the burning sun at a high pace to the gym and back counts as sufficient cardio for the day.

Walking is highly underestimated as an exercise, but for cardio you need to get your heart pumping.
