I read a fantasy series () by V.E. Schwab (female Jewish writer) that was a decent 5/10. It had way too many totally unrealistic situations in it. Also of course she had to add faggots into the mix in the most tasteless manner possible.

Probably the best medieval fantasy fiction series I have read that was wrote by a female so far though. At least it was sparing in the sexual aspects. Most books wrote by women are entirely too sexual in nature.

Imagine writing a book and having the male protagonist have the urge to jerk off in the first chapter before he instead tans himself a new sexy outfit and shaves his head before arguing with his controlling mother and then running away from the house to go out at night. He later then hooks up with some random guy in the back alleys and falls instantly in love. He goes home and his mom smacks the shit out of him and his dad tells him a new haircut won't make him a woman and he goes to his room crying.

That's the summary of the first two chapters of a woman's novel with the genders swapped and leaving out a bunch of the insane emotional bullshit. "The four winds". Library owns over 20 copies. Shits shit.

The fuck.

If you're interested in a good fantasy series check out "Priest of Bones". It's about a group of gangsters returned from a war picking up their old turf.

There are I think two faggot couples in the series though, which is obnoxious but not poorly done like most, and they're not the main characters.

Meh, i prefer my books faggot free. Try some Joe Abercrombie realistic world setting, gritty character driven, blood letting conflict throughout the entire series.

There is a faggot in Joe's book.

It wasn't as bad as some of the others though.
