I don't think they are trying to confiscate guns just so they can have a "Arch! Arch! Arch! Now we finally can execute you all in a ditch goyz! It's genocide time!" moment. They aren't going to advertise themselves as naz-war-criminals in front of the whole world, that's not their style.
