What I see is these guys are always feeding then platitudes. If you ever didn't say something complimentary to your girl because it was corny, patronizing, unnecessary, etc then you can't be this guy. If your girl ever got annoyed with you being overly affectionate, patronizing, or manipulative your girl would never put up with a guy like that. I don't think you can fake it for years on end, and you probably don't want the girls who would put up with it.
