15 years ago if I told you the US would have blatantly stolen elections, or forced injections, or 8 year olds getting genital mutilation and chemical castration because they said they want to be the opposite sex you would not have believed it. All the craziest shit conspiracy theorists have said came true. The confusion is simply because "the end" is not the end of everything. It is the end of some things. The end of facts being the most important thing in education. A lot of things have collapsed. The news is propaganda. Journalism used to have integrity. College is indoctrination. It used to teach critical thinking and the pursuit of truth above all else. The dollar is on it's last legs. Scientific advancement has slowed down considerably from the 90's. Medicine has become unethical. The world is a mess, but you have aclimated to that mess.
