I think it's because of mkultra style manipulation. They (the elite powers that be) have learned so much about human behavior. All the major narratives are theirs, even the counter narratives.

The whole trump narrative, Q, Bill Clinton's wife, etc. is beautifully manufactured to divide everyone as much as humanly possible. The "left" is eating itself just as much as the "right" is. Hell the entire "left v right" paradigm is manufactured!

Every blatant act of corruption is met with a dozen explanations as to why "he's still our guy". There is no consistency. At one moment trump (or whomever) is a fearless legend who cannot be stopped. The next moment that same person is a dupe who couldn't possibly stop the "enemy" because "38843D chess". No one seems to realize that after years and years of nail-biting over politics NOTHING in their life has improved. And that's because all they're doing is watching theater, instead of working to improve their lives.
