You aren't supposed to scold a cat. It serves no purpose except for them to trust you less. Reason being they don't process social interactions the same as dogs at all. Cats are kind of like niggers, in that when you scold the cat it thinks you're only being mean to it. It doesn't connect the dots that it's because of the flower pot it broke.
