It is obviously all about making someone feel guilty about eating pets but the reality is that rabbit is food. It is pretty easy to raise rabbits for food since they multiply so fast. I have never had rabbit myself but I have read that there is so little fat that you have to be careful not to eat just that.

Not from captive bred ones, they have quite a bit more fat on them. The starvation occurs from the lack of fat in the wild game.
